The photo shows on the right the shaman in full attire, wearing a parka, plastron, and crown-shaped metal headgear, sitting squatted on the floor in a chum tent. To the left in the foreground is his assistant with a tambourine in his hand. The large size of the tambourine with pendants, and the multitude of metal images of helping ghosts on his costume indicate that by all appearances it is a big, powerful, and respected shaman.
