A rectangular frame with a cut-out trapezoid opening in the middle; in the frame’s upper part, a slit is made for threading hair loops. Loops, 125 in all, are fixed on the frame. The frame is hung on a rope extending through a hole on its end. Machine-made cords (cotton, nylon etc.) are tied to the ends of hair snares. With the aid of these cords, the snares are attached to a crossbeam mounted on pegs. Abstract by A.A. Chuvyurov
