Annotation:
The photo shows deer farming foreman Prokhorov with wife and two children standing in a winter forest close by deer harnessed in a sled. The man is wearing a cotton-padded jacket and an ear-flaps hat; the woman and the girl are wearing traditional fur coats. The Dolgan families had many children. Children were treated with much love irrespective of their gender, and trained for labor and life in harsh Arctic conditions. Abstract by M.V. Fedorova
