Annotation:

Jewish ethnographic expedition of S. A. An-sky. Leaned on the wall is a slab with the inscription “Worthy man, our teacher Eliezer son of Samuel. May his soul rest among the righteous.”

חותך החורט את הכיתוב על ה"מצבה". מחוז ווהלין, עיר אוסטרוג. יהודים אירופאים. המשלחת האתנוגרפית היהודית של ס'.א'. אנ-סקי. צלם - יודובין ס'.ב'. 1912 נגטיב. על הקיר נישען לוח עם הכיתוב: "איש חשוב מורה אליעזר בן שמואל. תנצב"ה (תהי נפשו צרורה בצרור החיים)".
