Annotation:

Jewish ethnographic expedition of S. A. An-sky. Quite many Jews found jobs at small factories and plants, and in various co-operatives located within the Pale of Settlement. Being a Socialist Revolutionary and a journalist, S. A. An-sky sought to record everyday work of “factory proletarians.”

במפעל הגפרורים. מחוז ווהלין, עיר דובנו. יהודים אירופאים. המשלחת האתנוגרפית היהודית של ס'.א'. אנ-סקי צלם - יודובין ס'.ב'. 1912. נגטיב. במפעלים ובתי חרושת קטנים, בצוותי המלאכה שונים שנמצאו בתחום המושב, עבדו הרבה יהודים. בהיותו מהפכן הסוציאליסטי ועיתונאי, ס'.א'. אנ-סקי השתדל לתעד את שגרת העבודה של "הפרולטריון במפעלים".
