Annotation:

In the bottom right corner, on the passe-partout under the photograph, is the impression “I. Yakobson. Kazan.” Iosif Meyerovich Yakobson, a citizen of Mitau, in the late 1907 obtained the title to the Art Photography studio from his brother Moses who was in the trade business in Kazan. An electric stage was provided at the studio, which enabled taking pictures in the evening. In 1909, his works won a gold medal at an international exhibition in Kazan. He operated in Kazan Province and Nizhny Novgorod Province until 1917. He printed and sold postcards (we used materials from the research paper of R. R. Idrisova).

דיוקן זוגי של שתי ילדות. מחוז קאזאן, עיר קאזאן. יהודים אירופאים. צלם אי'.מ'. יעקובסון .1907-1911 שנת חותמת בפינה הימנית התחתונה בפאספארטו, מתחת לתצלום: "ו'. ג'. יעקובסון. קאזאן". תושב העיר ילגבה, בסוף 1907, קיבל יוסף מאירוביץ' יעקובסון את לבעלותו חנות הצילום "צילום אמנותי" מאחו מוזס מאירוביץ', שעסק במסחר בקאזאן. לחנות הוצמד ביתן המאובזר עם ציוד חשמלי המאפשר לצלם בשעות הערב. בשנת 1909 זכו יצירותיו של יוסף יעקובסון במדליית זהב בתערוכה הבינלאומית בקאזאן. הוא עבד במחוזות קאזאן וניז'ני נובגורוד עד לשנה 1917. עסק בהדפסה ומסחר גלויות (חומר נלקח מעבודת מדע מאת אידריסובה ר'.ר'.).
