Annotation:

Studio’s red stamp “Phot. H. Ziv, SPb. Tel. 89-59” Inscription in black ink: “As a memento to my lovely darling Auntie from her nephew A. Ginzburg (signature). 4/VI 15.” The picture shows A. Ginzburg wearing the uniform of junior noncommissioned officer, decorated with two St. George crosses and a Medal of Valor. Kowno citizen Hirsh Ruvelevich (Herman Romanovich) Ziv, a photographer, owned a photo workshop at 7 Suvorovsky Avenue from 1900 up to the mid-1920s.

דיוקנו של א'. גינזבורג. סנט פטרסבורג. יהודים אירופאים צלם '.ר'. זיו .1915שנת חותמת צבע אדום של המעבדה "צלם'. ג'. זיו, סנט פטרסבורג. טל'. 89-59". כיתוב בדיו שחורה: "לזכר ימים טובים, לדודה הנחמדה והמתוקה מאחיינה א'. גינזבורג (חתימה). 4/4/15 ". בתמונה - א'. גינצבורג במדי פטי קצין, המעוטר עם שני צלבי סנט ג'ורג ועם מדליית "עבור אומץ לב". תושב העיר קובנה, גירש רוובלביץ' (גרמן רומנוביץ') זיו, צלם, היה בעל המעבדה מעל בית המלאכה בבית מס' 7 בשדרות סובורובסקי, משנת 1900 ועד אמצע שנות העשרים של המאה ה-20.
