On the reverse of the letterhead card is the inscription, “Liza my cousin! This is my gift to you as a memento. Israel [(?) – signature illegible]// 11/4 93” Indicated in Russian on the letterhead photo card are the name Serebrin and Vitebsk.

דיוקן גבר צעיר. מחוז ויטבסק, עיר ויטבסק. יהודים אירופאים. צלם ו'.סירברין .1893 שנת כיתוב על גבו של טופס האמן האישי: "בת דודי ליזה! אני נותן לך את זה לזכר ימים טובים. ישראל (?) - חתימה אינה ברורה) // 11/4.93". על טופס הצילום כתוב שם המשפחה "סירברין" ברוסית ושם העיר - "ויטבסק".
