Annotation:

On the reverse of the letterhead card is lithographic information in Russian about the photographer, his merits, and services offered (“Relief Photography Privilege.”) The ink inscription on the reverse reads: “Parents of Manya Kamenetskaya with family – taken on Thursday 24/ХII 98, left on Sunday 27/ XII 1898 for America (?).” From 1890 till 1898, 31,000 Jews left Russia: 76.1% of Jewish immigrants who arrived in the USA at that time were of Russian origin (we used materials from the website https://eleven.co.il/jews-of-russia/general/15443/). Indicated on the letterhead card is information about the imperial gratitude of His Imperial Highness Grand Duke Vladimir Alexandrovich, with which the master received in 1898 a silver medal “For Diligence” (its image is on the left ). On the card itself is the lithographic printed text, “Photography Services. Honored with gratitude of His Imperial Highness Grand Duke Vladimir Alexandrovich. L. Serebrin. Photography in Vitebsk and Wilna.”

דיוקן קבוצתי משפחתי. מחוז ויטבסק, עיר ויטבסק. יהודים אירופאים. צלם ו'.סירברין .1898 שנת על גבו של טופס האמן האישי הודפס באופן ליתוגרפי מידע אודות הצלם, והתמחותו בשפה הרוסית ("יתרונות הצילום התלת מימדי"). על הגב - כיתוב בדיו: "הוריה של מאניה קמנצקי עם המשפחתם - צולם ביום חמישי 24/12/98, עזבו ביום ראשון 27/12/1898 לאמריקה (?)". בין שנות 1890-1898 עזבו את רוסיה 31 אלף יהודים: 76.1% מהמהגרים היהודים שהגיעו לארצות הברית בתקופה זו היו יוצאי רוסיה (המידע נלקח מהאתר https://eleven.co.il/jews-of-russia/general/15443/). על טופס האמן האישי הוצג מידע על הכרת התודה הגבוהה מטעם הוד מלכותו הקיסרי של הדוכס הגדול ולדימיר אלכסנדרוביץ', אשר יחד איתה האמן קיבל ב-1898 את מדליית הכסף "עבור חריצות"(בתמונה מצד שמאל). על הטופס עצמו הודפס באופן ליטוגרפי: עבודות צילום. הוכר בתודה מטעם הוד מעלתו הקיסרי, הדוכס הגדול ולדימיר אלכסנדרוביץ'. ל'. סירברין. תצלומים. ויטבסק. וילנה."
