Felt boots, part of men’s clothing for seal hunting

The tops made of cloth are canvas covered. The lower part is milled; the outsole is lined underneath with two pieces of felt. The tops were strapped with strings. Similar felt boots were worn in the Russian North and in Siberia. Abstract by O.G. Baranova
