Made of deerskin suede, with high tops reaching the groin. In the middle of the tops, bead embroidered cloth strips were sewn on, imitating cuffs. The torbases were strapped up with leather straps above the knee, and tied to the pelvis covers at the top. Dry grass was used as inner soles. Such long torbases were worn by men; women wore shorter boots (up to the knee). Abstract by M.V. Fedorova
