On November 1, 1825 the Emperor Alexander I visited Eupatoria’s kenesas; a monument with an inscription was installed in memory of his visit. Emperor Alexander I Pavlovich was one of the most respected monarchs among the Karaites; it was in his reign that the decision was made to allot land for the construction of kenesas; also a privilege to own land was granted to the Karaites in a special decree.
אובליסק לקיסר אלכסנדר ה-1 בחצר בית הכנסת. מחוז טאוריה, אוייזד יבפטוריה, עיר יבפטוריה. קראים. צלם נ'. רפניקוב. שנת 1913. ב-1 בנובמבר 1825, הקיסר אלכסנדר ה-1 ביקר בכנאסות ביבפטוריה. לזכר הביקור הזה הוקמה בשנת 1851 אנדרטה ועליה נכתב: "לקיסר אלכסנדר ה-1 לשם ציון ביקורו בבית הכנסת ב-1 בנובמבר 1825. מן קראי יבפטוריה. נבנה בשנת 1851". קיסר אלכסנדר ה-1 בן פבל היה אחד השליטים הנערצים ביותר בין הקראים: דוקא בתקופת שלטונו הוחלט להקצאת שטחי קרקע לבניית כנאסות, וכמו כן, באמצעות צו נוסף הקראים קיבלו זכות הבעלות על הקרקע. כיתוב בשפת הקראית - לקיסר אלכסנדר ה-1 לשם ציון ביקורו בבית הכנסת ב-1 בנובמבר 1825. מן קראי יבפטוריה. נבנה בשנת 1851.
