Annotation
“Types of Ethnic Groups of Turkestan Territory” . "Turkestan Album. By order of K. P. von Kaufmann the 1st, General Governor of Turkestan. Prepared by A. A. Kuhn". Young man dressed in a white shirt, trousers, and gown. On his head is a traditional conical fabric cap with a fur band. His side-locks are the sign of special piety (among the Bukharan Jews, only elderly and most pious men wore them).

מולה יסחק (יהודי). צלם נ'.ו'. נחורושב. שנות ה 1870-1872. דף "סוגי הלאום בטורקיסטן" מ"אוסף תצלומי טורקיסטן". גבר צעיר לבוש בחולצה לבנה, מכנסיים וחלוק. על ראשו חובש כובע מסורתי מבד בצורה של גביע ומקושט עם פרווה בשוליו. פאות הן הסימן לאדיקות גבוהה (בין היהודים הבוכרים ענדו אותן גברים מבוגרים והרי יראי שמים). אוסף תצלומי טורקיסטן. על פי הוראת המושל הכללי של טורקיסטן ק'.פ'. פון-קאופמן ה-1. נאסף על ידי א'. א'. קון. צלם נ'.ו'. נחורושב.
