The boots were probably made in Iran as high sandals were a more typical kind of boots for the Turkmens. The instep, sides, and bootleg’s top are decorated at the front with an inlaid pattern of bluish leather. At the front and outside, tassels of black leather strips hang down. The shape and pattern are common for the Turkmens, northern style.
