Annotation:

The gaters are made from blue cotton fabric. The upper edge is decorated with a broad black fabric strip with an ornament of a stylized bear’s face. Elk suede strings for tying to a belt or “pelvis cover” are sewn to the upper edge, and a strap for winding round the ankle is sewn to the lower edge.
