Annotation:

Sewn from kamoos deer leg skin, with high tops and elk skin soles. The top edges are bounded with tarbagan fur and black cloth. Leather belts are attached at the ankle for wrapping around the leg. Such footwear was excellently adapted to harsh Arctic winters with their heavy frosts. It was designed for everyday wear and for hunting. Abstract by M.V. Fedorova
