Annotation:

Bidarrah, a one-man boat with two oars. The boat’s wooden frame consists of a long wide board along the bottom, narrow battens across and along the frame, a small trapezoidal board fore, and two bench planks. On the outside, the frame was covered with a kolota, split walrus hide, and fixed with belts. A hunter crossed lagoons in a one-seat bidarrah using two wooden single-blade oars in spring and in autumn. Abstract by V.V. Gorbacheva
