It consists of four shape-cut small planks with a through hole at their ends. When braiding, string ends are passed through the holes to avoid their entangling. A lasso is braided of four stands cut out of a deer hide’s back, in a helical spin. One deer hide is needed to make a lasso. The lasso’s section must not exceed 5-8 mm, its length being 21 to 25 m.
