The old man is sitting on a sled, close to him are three kids, two of which are holding lassos for catching deer in their hands. All the four are wearing malicas with cloth overall cloaks. Boys were trained in the skill of accurately throwing the lasso, a herdsman’s main tool, from early childhood. Father and grandfather helped them in this. Abstract by I.A. Karapetova
