Made from bream skin. The kimono has a deep foldover from the left side to the right, long straight sleeves, and a round collar. The hem and edge of the left side, collar, and sleeve cuffs are trimmed with two stripes of red and black satin. The robe is decorated with a fish skin mosaic and cutout appliqué. Round copper pendants are sewn to the hem in a single row along the entire length—a characteristic decoration of traditional women's and girls' robes. In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, fish skin robes were common among all the peoples of the Amur region, but later they fell out of use. Since the second half of the 20th century, the craft of processing fish skin and making clothing from it has developed into a distinct branch of decorative and applied art.
