Mataar, kumiss vessel, cylindrical, with an inserted round bottom. Decorated all over its periphery with wide transverse stripes bearing carved geometric and botanical ornament. Arranged on the body are round cells of a honeycomb pattern, diamonds, zigzags, quirks, dentil (pendant) ornament, and pounced ornament. An important component of the décor is two copper hoops with vertical copper strips and drop-shaped copper pendants.
