The traditional costume of the Dolgans consisted of a fur coat, a cap, and footwear made of deer skin; a fur boa neckpiece was worn on the neck. The fur coat was sewn from young reindeer fur, fur outside, worn open, with a straight front slit. It is slightly elongated at the back, and flared by panels sewn in at the sides. Decorated on the breast, waist, and back with red cloth strips embroidered with multicolored beads. Felt tassels and dog fur trimming are stitched on along the hem. Abstract by M.V. Fedorova
