Annotation:

A puppet from the "chodir khayal" puppet theater. The prototype was the renowned physician Batyrshin, who practiced among the local population of Tashkent. According to the script, he was called upon to provide medical assistance to one of the participants in the performance: a dancer hit by a horse, a soldier who fainted during a parade, and so on. The prescriptions he prescribed were "quack," thus ridiculing the treatment methods often used by local healers, or tabibs.
