Annotation:
Usually two figures would be placed at the site of activity. They would be “fed” with fish using flat little spatulas. After the offerings these spatulas would be hung nearby from a tree. If the hunting or fishing was successful, then such offerings would be repeated every year, and new idols would appear at the site.
