Men wore such clothing over the everyday malica in heavy frost and for the journey. It was sewn from autumn deer skins with dense thick pile. The back of the garment itself and of the hood was cut out of one skin so that the deer head skin could serve as the hood’s back part. Fluffy dog fur was sewn to the hem. Abstract by I.A. Karapetova
