Medieval bronze figurines found in the ground often served as decorations of women’s plait bands. The bird is shown in profile standing on a flat base, the bird’s claws and tail resting on it. The bird has a prominent hooked beak, its eyes shown as an oval groove with a prominent pupil. The bird is displayed along the outline and decorated with welts and arch-like indentations. The claws are shown as narrow grooves. The figurine’s back has a pipe for hanging.
