Metal: copper
РЭМ 1711-365
Medieval bronze figurines found by the Khanty and Mansi in the ground often served as decorations for women’s plait bands. The horse is shown in profile standing on an arch-like base raised on one end, on which it rests with its head, legs, and tail. The mane is represented by three large beads. The figurine is cast in a flat open-side mold. On its back is a metal loop for hanging.
