It is made of a curved ring-shaped root (butt) of the “family tree” (larch), where the souls of the future shamans of the clan “grew”. The image of the shaman's ancestor was one of the first and main attributes of the shaman. According to the Evenks, Mugde determined the paths of the shaman, gave advice and songs.
