Sable's and other fur animals's noses and lips were were cut off by hunters and fastened on a thin tendon rope. Such bundles were carefully kept, never sold or exchaned. It was believed that the violation of this prohibition would lead to the loss of luck in hunt. Abstract by V.V. Gorbacheva
