Consists of a shaved wooden stick, with a flat metal end piece inserted into its lower end and secured with threads. A thick bast fishing line is fixed with threads along the stem. Both river and sea was caught. One of fishing techniques was with angle gears. Such angles were very strong and able to hold a big fish.
