Annotation:

A simple arc-shaped wooden bow with a straight unfeathered arrow. The bow was a universal weapon. There were hand-held and trap bows. The shaft was made of birch wood, and the string, of nettle fibers or sinews. Trap bows were set on the route of an animal.
