Annotation:

Rectangular birch bark box with a lid; the lid has an embossed ornament painted red and blue on its surface. In the middle of the pattern is a rosette with four spirals, with bear’s heads shown on the sides. They symbolized an amulet against evil spirits. The box was used for carrying sundry little things.
