Annotation:

Flat rectangular birch bark box with a lid; the lid has an embossed ornament painted red on its surface. The box was used for carrying tobacco and sundries. The lid has a black ornament against a light background, in the form of a turtle’s figure with two heads symmetrically arranged on two sides. The turtle symbolized happiness and fertility.
