Twin wooden sticks. Carved on the end of each are alternating lines and zigzags; the knobs are ball-shaped. Small through holes are made under the carving. Chopsticks were carved not only from wood but also from bone. Some of them were works of art of a kind, so fine their carved patterns were. Often, a pair of sticks was tied together with threads or cords, with beads strung on them.
