The men’s summer shirt is made of Chinese purple cotton fabric, kimono style. The top of the left-hand flap is decorated with a black velvet strip with a spiral foliage ornament embroidered in silk threads. The hem and side slits are decorated with black velvet and fabric appliqué (the ornament consists of stylized zoomorphic faces). The men’s shirts were shorter than women's robes and had side slits.
