The women’s robe “amiri” is made from keta salmon skin, kimono style. The back and collar are decorated with a fish skin appliqué painted blue, with an ornament of stylized images of tiger’s head, birds, and snakes. According to the collector, the robe was owned by a middle-aged woman wand was called ututsun (utesoo), which is the Nanai for “without decorations on the back”.
