Annotation:

In 1897, 6,662 Jews lived in the city of Kuba. I. S. Anisimov noted that Mountain Jewesses “get married very early, so that at the age of 15 they mostly have a child already.”

נשים וילדים ליד בית מגורים. מחוז באקו, אויזד קובנינסקי, עיר קובה. יהודי הרים. צלם א.א. מילר. 1907. ב-1897 התגוררו בעיר קובה 6,662 יהודים. ו. ש. אניסימוב ציין כי היהודיות ההרריות"מתחתנות מאוד מוקדם, כך שלקראת גיל 15 לרובן יש כבר ילד".
