The picture shows a five-walled log house, a a building divided in the middle by a transverse log bearing wall installed simultaneous with the erection of the frame. The house is built upon a high basement, which formed a first storey and was used as cattleshed, barn, storage place, and warehouse. The house has a V-shaped roof decorated with carved bargeboards – “eaves” and a ridge beam or apex, and a balcony arranged in front of two windows. Abstract by O.G. Baranova
