The photo shows women in a winter forest wearing traditional festive costumes. Their parkas, plastrons, and high boots are made from deer fur and suede and decorated with bead embroidery, metal pendants, and little bells. They have bonnet-shaped traditional caps on their heads, and shawls tied in different ways – at the front under the chin, at the back, and on the crown. The breast decorations are round metal plates and cross pendants. Abstract by M.V. Fedorova
