The photo shows two men and two women wearing traditional costumes; hand in hand, they perform the dance “Norgali” (Evenki Dance!) echoing deer’s voice and imitating their movements. The dancers have on winter parkas og reindeer fur, plastrons, and high boots. The women’s plastrons are decorated with fringes, bead embroidery, and hair from under reindeer’s neck. Abstract by M.V.
