Annotation:

In the early 20th century, Jews owned all shops in the shtetl of Peschanka: textile, haberdashery, ironware, leather, stationery, and tableware; they also controlled actually all of the food retail. Jews also owned timber yards, lime works, and inns.

ביתים. מחוז פודולסקי, אוייזד אולגופולסקי, עיירה יהודית פסצ'נקה. יהודים אירופאים. הצלם זארמבסקי א'.אי'. .צילום משלחתי. 1924 תמונה מודפסת. בתחילת המאה העשרים, בעיירת פסצ'נקה בבעלותם של היהודים היו כל החנויות - חנויות מוצרי ייצור, סדקית, סיכות, עור, נייר כתיבה, כלי בית, וגם כמעט כל סחר המזון היה בידיהם. ברשותם של היהודים היו גם מחסני יער, מפעל לייצור סיד, פונדקים.
