Annotation:

“Balagula” was a Jewish cabman hired for travels and for carrying cargoes between villages and shtetls within the Pale of Settlement, for driving up to a railway station and back. In the late 19th century, the shtetl of Dunayevtsy had 10,900 residents, an Orthodox church, a Lutheran church, a Roman Catholic church, a synagogue, 5 Jewish praying houses, 6 factories, 27 cloth mills, a dyehouse, a water mill, and 2 hospitals.

בלגולה (עגלון יהודי). מחוז פודולסקי, אוייזד קמנץ-פודולסקי, עיירה יהודית דונייבצי. יהודים אירופאים. הצלם זארמבסקי א'.אי'. .צילום משלחתי. 1925 תמונה מודפסת. "בלגולה" הוא עגלון היהודי שהועסק להסעות והובלות מטען בין הכפרים, מושבים ועיירת בתחום המושב, ולתחנת רכבת וממנה. בסוף המאה ה-19. בעיירה התגוררו 10,900 תושבים, כנסיות אורתודוקסיות ולותרניות, כנסייה, בית הכנסת, 5 בתי תפילה יהודיים, 6 מפעלים, 27 מפעלי בד, מפעל צביעה, טחנת המים ו-2 בתי חולים.
