A "dauri" saddle cloth made of red velvet with gold and silver embroidery on an adras (cotton and silk fabric with a blurred abr pattern) lining. It was worn on the horse's back and croup. The portion of the saddle cloth is undecorated. The saddle cloth was primarily intended to protect the horse's back. This saddle cloth, so richly embroidered, was used for ceremonial rides. Ornamented using the "gulduzi-zaminduzi" technique. From the gifts of the Emir of Bukhara to the imperial family (date unknown).
