Annotation:

The photo shows a woman in a chum breastfeeding her baby lying in the cradle. Close by is an older child reaching out for mother. The main mission of woman in the traditional Evenki society is that of mother and home keeper. Infants were usually breastfed until the age of one, sometimes two or three years.
