The photo shows two women wearing summer festive clothes, which came into fashion in the early 20th century. The “pairs”, i.e. skirts and blouses, are made from machine-made fabrics. They have on shamshuras, traditional women’s summer headgear. Over them a machine-made cotton kerchief was tied. Abstract by L.V. Korolkova
