“Alyn-dany” of a rectangular piece of orange calico, with large and small pink flowers. The band was part of the women’s headgear to be wrapped as a turban over a “yaglyk” headscarf. Traditionally, a “dany” headscarf served this function with the Yamoud women of Dashoguz.
