The trousers were worn by girls and women. This type of trousers was common among all the Turkmens of the east coast of the Caspian Sea, in the Dashoguz group of districts. A feature of this article of women’s clothing in the Dashoguz group of districts is that its different parts were made from fabric of one quality. The knee piece was cut separately and sewn to the trousers’ upper part as ready-made; it was seldom embroidered. Such workpieces were sold on markets in large numbers.
