Annotation:

Upper shoulder garment worn open as a long shirt. The sovik is made of homemade white felt. The front and back sheets are made of one fabric length, gussets are set in on the sides; a hood is sewn to the opening for the head, which is strapped up with a passing braid of red cotton fabric. The sleeves are edged with leather, cuff-like. Men on the Winter Coast wore such fishing soviks over everyday clothes. Abstract by O.G. Baranova
