Parka, men’s winter garment of grayish-white deer fur, with a white hood strapped up with a cord; it is put on over the head, fur outside. The parka is worn over a malica; it is a reindeer herdsmen’s clothing made from the skin of a nebluj (a calf five or six months old). Both men and women wear it in winter nomad camps in heavy frost and blizzard. Abstract by A.A. Chuvyurov
