In winter, the Nganasan and Entsi women wore a bonnet-like headgear of white deer skin, whose pile was trimmed low. To protect the face and neck against frost, a trimming of fluffy dog fur was attached. Festive caps were decorated with red and black cloth braids. Abstract by I.A. Karapetova
